Custom logo and website design created for the PSST (Post Stroke Speech Transcription) Challenge, an academic collaboration between OHSU and PSU. Presented at the 2022 LREC Conference in Marseilles, France.
"The PSST Challenge focuses on a technically-challenging and clinically important task—high-accuracy automatic phoneme recognition of disordered speech, in a diagnostic context—which has applications
in many different areas relating to speech and language disorders."
The logo plays on the project acronym PSST an onomatopoeia for secret or whispered information. The hands are interlaced with a neural network, in reference to the academic algorithms used in this challenge. The logo is meant to be modern and academic while remaining warm and approachable. The colors were selected to motivate challenge entrants.
